Dos Vientos is far from unfamiliar to those that are a part of the Amgen world. We’ve seen tons of Amgen employees land themselves a new home in Dos Vientos in search of an easy commute to and from the office.
The Weather
Southern California is a desert and though we all like to forget this little detail it shows up in a big way during the summer months. It’s hot here – up to triple digits in many parts of the Conejo Valley.
Dos Vientos is as close to the pacific as the Conejo Valley gets and in turn takes advantage of some of those coastal breezes. It’s considerably cooler in Dos Vientos than any other part of the Conejo Valley.
The Privacy
Dos Vientos is a bit off the beaten path of Newbury Park. It’s tucked in a corner of town creating its own sense of community and lifestyle. So much so that a small shopping center (deli, preschool, restaurant, etc.) sits in the center of Dos Vientos’ neighborhoods.
Keep in mind that you’ll have to drive a bit to hit the grocery store or fill the tank, but for those desired quiet nights and intimate cul-de-sacs, Dos Vientos is a go-to.
The Bang for Your Buck
Not to say there aren’t million dollar homes in Dos Vientos – we are still in the Conejo Valley afterall. But a million dollar price tag is not the norm for Dos Vientos, there’s a wide range in affordability and your dollar certainly stretches further here. The homes are newer than most you’ll find in the Conejo Valley and they come at a lower price than the comparable homes of Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park.

Dos Vientos is the largest planned community in all of the Conejo Valley and the homes come in all shapes and sizes. From condos and townhomes to guard gated estates, Dos Vientos covers the needs of all home buyers.
We hate to see a family fall in love with a neighborhood or community only to find out it doesn’t work for them because the house is too small, too big, too expensive, etc. Dos Vientos truly has a home suitable for a family of any size in nearly any budget.
