Grab a Brew in (and around) Westlake Village
We are excited to see the brewery craze take over the Conejo Valley. There's something about the smell and atmosphere of an authentic brewery that's hard to not appreciate.
Full disclosure, we've yet to make way to every brewery in Conejo Valley but we are making our way. We'll keep you posted moving forward!
Here are the best breweries in the Conejo Valley we know and love so far:
You can practically taste the beer when you walk in the smell of wheat and barley is so captivating. Aesthetically, Figueroa is on point - the lighting is warm and comfortable and the seating is well balanced between intimate and communal. Bonus points for the outdoor patio and food menu.
Wine drinkers fear not. They've added a red and a white.

Westlake Brewing & Libation is a modern warehouse brewery with a lot going on. The vibe is super laid back and relaxed, with live music and events certain days of the week. There's no food menu here which we find to be a fairly common theme with breweries, but there is a taco truck from time to time.
There is also a winery next door that connects through the warehouse. Fair warning that you can't cross over the beer and wine, but I've already asked and they are working on it.

We can be honest with each other here and admit that Ladyface Alehouse & Brasserie is more of a restaurant. But this isn't a bad thing, and they brew on site so of course they make the list.
The full menu not only sets Ladyface apart from some of these breweries that don't serve food, it also make it a great spot to bring the whole family. See their site for upcoming events and all news Ladyface.

The name may not seem fitting for this particular list but Wade's Wine does do beer tastings and the place is so unique it's impossible to not give it a little credit.
Don't assume to be lost as you drive up wondering how there is a winery tucked into this industrial sector of Westlake Village, once you walk in you'll forget where you are.
Tasting room hours vary but the retail store is open 7 days a week selling beer, wine, and spirits.
